Why didn't they just set it on fire and let it collapse into its own footprint?

I saw LSU play 7 times in that building and witnessed 5 wins and 2 losses. Favorite win was '03 SEC Championship game. Lost my voice for 3 days after the game and had to apologize to patients about the hoarseness when I spoke. Other wins were '96 Peach Bowl, '07 SECCG, '10 Kickoff Classic and '11 SECCG. Worst loss was '05 SECCG (Sitting in UGA section through that shite show). Never saw a Saints-Falcons game there even though I'm local. I'm going to watch the Saints demolish the birds on Dec. 7 in their new stadium.
