Chip Kelly Says He Has ‘No Interest’ In Being Alabama Offensive Coordinator
After Steve Sarkisian bolted Alabama for the Atlanta Falcons, rumors started swirling that maybe the currently unemployed Chip Kelly could be his replacement. But per Bleacher Report, a source close to Kelly, says he's not interested...
quote:

“For now, Kelly is focused on being in the NFL again,” reports Cole, ” as either a head coach or offensive coordinator.”
I would think that would be a great job for him right now, no?

He's owed $6m for next 3 yrs, $18m total. It'd be dumb for him to go to work unless it was high paying and the perfect situation. I'd be on a fricking island somewhere.

This is an extremely misleading title. Chip Kelly hasn't said one thing about the Alabama job. some random guy said he knew somebody who knows Chip who thinks Chip has no interest in the job based on prior conversations. The real title should read: According to an ESPN reporter, Chip and Saban have talked on the phone to discuss the job opening.

Yeah, he's focused on the league... where they dont like the spread..... which is his specialty..... lol. I'd rather not have him at alabama anyway. I dont like this spread shite weve been integrating into the offense. I miss our old offense. Let the RB run and the QB throw and just push motherfrickers around. THAT's alabama football. Not this spread shite.
