The Chicago Bears announced Monday afternoon that defensive tackle Ray McDonald has been released by the team after he was arrested earlier Monday in California on suspicion of domestic violence and child endangerment. Per ESPN:

According to Santa Clara police, McDonald was arrested at approximately 7 a.m. local time Monday after officers said he "physically assaulted the victim while she was holding a baby."
McDonald signed a one-year deal with the Bears in March worth $1.05 million but included no guaranteed money.

hate to say this but this one is strictly on him. He is under the radar and has very little room for mistakes in this area or any area for that matter. he was stupid. can't control his temper and needs to be shut down. i don't feel sorry for him in the least. he has blown a great second chance opportunity.

Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty" in this country?
The NFL is so trigger happy now, that all it takes is a 911 call from a pissed off SO, and you are done.
