Aaron Rodgers Reportedly Petitioned The NFL For 'Alternative Treatment' To Vaccine

Green Bay Packers star QB Aaron Rodgers has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. It's also revealed that the NFL considered him unvaccinated since the start of the season and he petitioned for alternate treatment for the virus to the league.

Rodgers, 37, petitioned the NFL to have an alternate treatment that he underwent before he returned to the Packers that would allow him to be considered the same as someone who received one of the approved vaccinations, sources told ESPN. After a lengthy back and forth, the league ruled that Rodgers would not get the same consideration and would be considered unvaccinated.

Sources said Rodgers follows masking protocols while interacting with players and coaches inside the team's headquarters at Lambeau Field. However, Rodgers does not wear a mask while in the media auditorium during his weekly and postgame news conferences. The Packers have put other unvaccinated players on Zoom instead of at in-person media sessions.

The reigning NFL MVP said this past August that he was "immunized" when asked about his vaccination status.

I'm calling bull shite and publicity-pandering on the "I'm allergic to an ingredient" excuse..... The Johnson&Johnson vaccine is NOT an mRNA vaccine- completely different ingredients, methodology , different science- but he's "proud of his research" that led him to taking veterinary de-wormer as alternate medicine? Note he's not saying WHICH ingredient triggers his "allergies".... If he WANTED a vaccine that didn't have the ingredient he's supposedly allergic to, there is a safe alternative available.

The issue is freedom, it should NEVER be Mandated by dementia joey or anybody. It's an individuals personal choice, the consequences and results are on them. If those of us who chose to be vaccinated, that's our choice. This idiot administration is doing it's best to take our freedoms. In Aaron's case it was his choice, now he lives with the consequences.

Larry, it's clear you've been spending all of your time chasing down Lindsey Vonn stories. None of what you said in your article matters. Less than 1% of people who are vaccinated are hospitalized. Less than 1% of people who are unvaccinated are hospitalized. Fully vaccinated people are still getting Covid. Fully vaccinated people are still spreading Covid. Fully vaccinated people are still dying of Covid. Stop acting like a liberal douche.

the amount of ignorance on here is astounding. Not that facts matter to people who have the same views as you but the unvaccinated are 11 times (that's 1100%) more likely to die from covid than those vaccinated. That's like saying people who wear a seatbelt get in car wrecks. People who don't wear their seatbelt get in car wrecks. People who wear seatbelts die in car wrecks. . .yes they do. But at MUCH lower rates than those who don't. In fact....the data is so overwhelming that we actually have a (wait for it) MANDATE to wear your seatbelt or you get a fine/ticket/your insurance rates go up etc etc. etc.
