State and city officials unveiled the renovations to the Superdome yesterday. Renovations include refurbished and replaced seats, new seats added, new club facilities and restrooms, new video systems and scoreboards, new luxury suites, plus the Saints locker room has expanded to twice its old size. SMG, the company that manages the Dome & many other venues all over the country, is the one who makes all of these changes. Doug Thornton has been the key contributor to make the Dome what it is today. And if that keeps Mr Benson happy & in New Orleans, Thornton is someone we all should thank.

Mr. Benson is did a great job hiring the right people to build a championship caliber team. Now he's doing a great job giving us a first-class facility. Way to go. I cant wait to go back.

I wasn't aware that they were remodeling the Dome...I love that place. Brings back great memories. I have seen some a lot of big events in that place.
