Anthony Davis Talks About Being Shocked By Cousins Signing W/ Warriors

All-World Anthony "AD" Davis don't seem all that concerned about losing Boogie as a teammate. It was reported in NOLA news outlets that he wasn't too sad losing Cousins as a locker room presence besides the Pelicans was more interested in signing PG Rajon Rondo than Boogie Cousins and was more hurt by him signing with the Lakers. But Anthony Davis and the Pelicans feel real good about the players they signed in PG Elfrid Payton and PF Julius Randle it was AD who orchestrated the signing of Randle and he fits the Pelicans style of play better than Cousins did and he's extremely talented. Remember the Pelicans sweep the #3 Portland Trail Blazers without Boogie Cousins because they just ranned the Blazers out the building. And Payton might not have the leadership of Rondo and the experience but the kid is very athletic and very talented and like Rondo he's not a great outside shooter but he gets to the basket a lil better than Rondo did. As long as the Pelicans have a capable PG to keep Jrue Holiday at SG and they do and have a big man to keep defenses honest against AD and they do we should be fine next year even improving on last years record.
