It's those new helmets that don't have the snaps.. they have the ratchet things. We have a few kids using them now. Definitely makes you question them.

Another way to address it is to show these guys how to properly adjust the straps. I've seen time and time again that guys are just pulling their helmets on and off without unbuckling the strap.

I think you address it by having someone with scissors nearby to cut the strap... One freak accident doesn't mean you completely redesign helmets.
