Rutgers announced this week that head football coach Kyle Flood has been suspended for three games and fined him $50,000 following an investigation by the school. Per CBSSports.com:

The school had been investigating an email Flood sent from a personal email account to a faculty member regarding the status of cornerback Nadir Barnwell. The email was about the academic eligibility of Barnwell. All communication with a student-athlete's instructor must come from an academic support member.
Rutgers opens up the Big Ten season against Penn State on Saturday.
