The Michigan vs. Michigan State game came down to the very last second when the Spartans ran a botched punt snap into the end zone as time expired to win. For some reason this reporter, who was outside of the stadium, never saw that and reported something different...

Assuming the game was over was not the bad part here. Everyone assumed it was over. Where this guy crossed the line was when he completely MADE UP FACTS by saying michigan fans were running out the stadium in celebration. He just pulled them from thin air and reported them as true. And he should be fired for that.
