BIG 10 Decides To Play 2020 Season, But With These Protocols & Scheduling
© Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports
After months of rumors playing and not playing, the BIG 10 conference has decided to play the 2020 season...

However, protocols will be a challenging if a player or team gets sick...
quote:

The Big Ten Conference will use data provided by each Chief Infection Officer (CInO) to make decisions about the continuation of practice and competition, as determined by team positivity rate and population positivity rate, based on a seven-day rolling average:

Team positivity rate (number of positive tests divided by total number of tests administered):

Green 0-2%
Orange 2-5%
Red >5%
Population positivity rate (number of positive individuals divided by total population at risk):

Green 0-3.5%
Orange 3.5-7.5%
Red >7.5%
The scheduling will also be different... And will there be fans in the stands?...

Big 10 officials did not want to play. Their rules make it near impossible to play. But, they appease the parents by saying that they tried. Just don't rob the players of eligibility if only 2 games of the season get completed.

Everyone knows family members can’t contact it from other players’ families

Any college kids hospitalized yet? I haven't found any yet. Quite different from Swine Flu. Insanity.

21 Day suspension is almost half of their season. Crazy

"21-day suspension of play for players testing positive"... So far longer than the quarantine even the CDC recommends. No rational or medical justification for this... Libs: We will ruin sports for you one way or another.

Restrictions are ridiculous. Not likely that all teams will complete the season.
