Pete Thamel is reporting that Mississippi State has hired Washington State's Mike Leach to be the schools new head coach.

Leach will replace Joe Moorhead who was recently fired.

The SEC needs these types of personalities. Since The Old Ball Coach retired its been bland. Now we have Coach O, Lane Train and The Pirate in the same division.

It’ll be very interesting to see how Leach does in the living rooms of the parents and grand parents in the Deep South. If he can recruit well in Mississippi and cherry pick north Louisiana, he just might do well.
