Mississippi State quarterback Michael Van Buren Jr. announced that he will be entering the NCAA transfer portal.
Van Buren Jr., a freshman from Bowie, Md., started in the Bulldog's final eight games this season, passing for 1,886 yards, 11 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
He won just one game, a 45-20 victory over UMass.
Mississippi State went 2-10 (0-8 SEC) this season.
