Head coach Ed Orgeron announced Thursday after practice that wide receiver Dee Anderson has been suspended of the season. Orgeron did not elaborate on the suspension.

Orgeron previously said in fall camp that Anderson was suspended from the team until he meets conditioning requirements.

The 6'6" junior from DeSoto, TX has had several off-the-field issues during his football career so it is likely this could be the end of his time at LSU.

Anderson was spotted in the upper deck of the LSU-Texas game last weekend.

All of you guys writing condescending, paternalistic to DA, as though he's actually reading, let's hope he's NOT. That's especially true wrt the overtly racist ones (GeauxGutsy). For others acting as if Anderson was currently on a crime spree, give it a rest. Who among us wasn't making mistakes and using bad judgement at that age. Most of us grew out of it, as Dee likely will. None of us has walked in his shoes. Finally, those that read this and say or write something about his possible future earnings, kindly mind your own business. I stress "possible" in the previous sentence because one can lose millions of NFL money for doing nothing wrong. La'el Collins comes to mind, but there are surely more (and more egregious) examples. Also, NCAA athletes (not made from whole cloth student-athletes) should be paid NOW.

Get it together, young Tiger! We want to see you on the field helping us to a National Championship. Praying that you can defeat the demons that lurk inside of you and reach the potential that you were born with. Much success!

He's a hell of a good WR & made some huge plays last season. Hope he gets back on track after a slight derailment! Best of luck Dee. Keep your head up!

I pray this young man gets some help and rid his demons and surrounds himself with real friends that care for him and support him through this tough time. He is a TIGER and we don't eat our own!!! I wish him well.

He struggled in high school with doing the right thing and it seems to have carried over to college life. Some people are talented enough to get multiple chances but some aren't sharp enough to take them.

yeah. totally agree. I never did anything wrong in HS. Im sure you didn't either. Besides your existence. But... now in college, wtf honestly you never set a foot down on a college campus. We know a lie when you post it. you aren't sharp, athletic, or otherwise talented enough to have received a scholarship in any way. stop being resentful of individuals more talented than you

Dee, get your life together. This does not have to be the end of your career. Just do the right thing, straighten up, and finish with a degree. Good luck!
