ESPN released updated Week 3 SEC Power Rankings on Monday and pegged LSU down at No. 8.
They had the Tigers at No. 7 last week.

5. Tennessee
6. Ole Miss
7. Georgia
8. LSU
9. Auburn
10. Missouri
11. Mississippi State
12. South Carolina
13. Vanderbilt
14. Kentucky
They had the Tigers at No. 7 last week.

8. LSU: The Tigers dominated Mississippi State for 55 minutes and nearly choked up a big lead with a horrible final few minutes. Les Miles might have seen his LSU career flashing before his eyes when State took over for a potential winning drive with 2:15 to play before Arden Key finally locked up the victory with a fourth-down sack and forced fumble. LSU held on for a 23-20 victory and looked better on offense with Danny Etling at quarterback.
