LSU center Lloyd Cushenberry received a very special phone call this week from Jim Nagy who invited him to play in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 25.

Cushenberry will join LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton and offensive guard Damien Lewis who are also playing in the Senior Bowl.

Three stars from Geismar. I hope he crushes it in the NFL for a lot of years. Thanks for being a Tiger.

Pretty sure he’s a redshirt junior, so really a senior. I don’t think they would’ve invited him if not. Either way, well deserved for Lloyd and I wish him the best. Was always rock solid on the line and was a great leader. Geaux Tigers.
