LSU freshman offensive guard Kardell Thomas was expected to add depth in the trenches this season but unfortunately suffered an ankle injury in fall camp that required surgery.

When head coach Ed Orgeron announced the injury back in August, he did not give a timetable for his return but did not rule him out for the season.

Just 37-days after the surgery, Thomas was up and running on anti-gravity machine and this week he was able to put complete weight down on his ankle and run on a normal treadmill, which is a great sign.
