Former LSU linebacker Kevin Minter, now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, made a Jadeveon Clowney-like hit on Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin Friday night.

Unfortunately, a defensive holding penalty negated it. The hit was still awesome.

Wasn't enough time for a penalty

If Minter had 4.4-4.5 speed, be a top 5 linebacker in the NFL. He’s always had the mind for the game.

This is the kinda thing that that makes me wish the Saints would get on the LSU train at some point. It’s almost as if Sean doesn’t want the local pressure to play a local Homeboy and said frick it my school of choice for Top players is gonna be Ohio State and that’s that. Just my Theory and everyone has an a-hole too..

Sean Payton isn’t from Louisiana. You can’t expect him to be an LSU fan even if he does coach the Saints.

I think it would be trouble for any young athlete to be rich and a part of the saints if they grew up in the local area. Not every player, but the majority of LSU players came up from local areas. Imagine Tyrann Mathieu being drafted by the Saints and living in NOLA again. NOLA isn't the safest. Just my theory.

Hey, I’m all fine that my Bucs keep scooping up all these great LSU players. Can’t wait to see Devin White light it up for the skull & crossbones!
