He is maybe 6' tall and is pretty heavy compared to basketball guys his height. That is an impressive feat.

Oh wait, it's his legal name so probably the people who sign his check, banks, the IRS... basically anything to do with money which is something he's going to have a lot of thanks to his superior athletic ability. This seems to be a new hot trend among players. It's unnecessary and silly. Only use a suffix if there's another player by the same name that might be confusing. As in Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr. Otherwise, no suffix.
