He is right when he says those who would have him gone have always been ready to do so.. even after the first loss...those folks are ready to pounce on anything and everything.

Sad really

In the long run Les will be seen as a great here at LSU.

Short term this is a highly debated opinion.

Sure we have certainly struggled (and more often than not when we shouldnt have), but the bottom line is. LSU has been nationally relevant in a big way for almost the entirety of his tenor.

As a LSU Alumni, I feel bad for him, and his players. Miles looks like an honest person, and care for his players. This is a young team with new coaches. If you look at Alabama, they didn't fire Nick Saban. Saban brought a new OC, that has coached well.

I would like to see him another year with a different OC, so can develope a good QB. Since Les Miles took charge of this program, LSU has been in the social media, Top 25, and has beaten good schools.

You are not a quiter, so don't quit right now...

It's time to turn the page... but in the big picture, Les has done a great job at LSU.

You'd be hard pressed to find someone handle that press conference as well as he did. I'm glad he's represented our university!

Hats off, Les!
