IMHO 1) A team winning the Nat Championship should begin the season as #1 and stay there until they lose ..it will work itself out. 2) No "FIRM" poll should come out until Oct 1, or Sat before.

Why don't they just carry the ranking from last season over to the next season? It is up to the team to maintain their ranking. Not the voters.

Been talked about but not done yet. No rankings should even come out until the first of october. Buckeyes embarrassed at home, still top 10, thats a joke. LSU should be 8/9
