The swing in the odds probably had less to do with LSU's performance, and more to do with Alabama's

After LA tech it went from 25:1 to 40:1

25 to 1 on Vegas Insider (link below). Futures odds vary widely. Right after Joe Burrow was named starter, I was travelling through Nevada. The first Sports Book I walked in to had LSU at 25 to 1. Across the street it was 75 to 1. So, I took a little flyer on LSU for the Natty, and the SEC championship (19 to 1).
