LSU defensive lineman Ali Gaye and defensive back Jay Ward are out for Saturday's game vs. Central Michigan, Ed Orgeron said on the SEC Coaches Teleconference.
Both Gaye and Ward did not play last week vs. McNeese after suffering injuries vs. UCLA in week 1.
Orgeron said they are hoping they can get Ward back for the Mississippi State game next week but his status remains up in the air.
