Steve Ensminger & Bill Busch Will Be Up In The Press Box This Season

LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger and new safeties coach Bill Busch will be up in the press box during games this season, according to the game notes that were released on Monday.

Head coach Ed Orgeron said that Jerry Sullivan will also be in the press box.

All other coordinators and assistant coaches will be down on the field.

Coach O press conference said Jerry and Ensminger would be in the box

O said that rules won't allow Jerry to be in the box but he will help call plays by communicating through a headset w/ Ensminger, who will be in the box.

Makes sense. So much easier to pick out the weakness in the defense from overhead. Plays are called through this a headset now so it’s not like he needs face to face contact.

Right decision imo. Put 2 guys in the booth on each side of the ball to identify weaknesses and keep all other coaches on the field to coach up the kids.
