Kalen DeBoer Provides Alabama Injury Updates Ahead Of LSU Game

Gary Cosby Jr.-Tuscaloosa News / USA TODAY NETWORK
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided several injury updates at the Monday Morning Quarterback Club in Birmingham as the Crimson Tide enters its bye week before traveling to Baton Rouge to face LSU on November 7.
DeBoer said he is hopeful that wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams will be available against the Tigers.
"Ryan in particular, I'm hopeful that he'll be ready for the LSU game," DeBoer said. "Really, a lot of the [injured] guys -- this is a big week. They're not in the clear yet, but we're hoping that rolls over into next week to where they'll be out there practicing."
"Not all of them are exactly on the same timeline, but Ryan in particular, I'll hope by next week he'll be able to give us quite a bit."
DeBoer also provided a less encouraging update on offensive lineman William Sanders, who was injured against Texas A&M.
"Yeah, he will be a little more extensive, more than likely. Probably a few weeks out. Probably 2-3 weeks."
DeBoer also confirmed that defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is currently away from the team due to a violation of team standards.
"He's not with us. We have an expectation and standard in our program, and the team rules, and things that go along with that," DeBoer said.
"There are still some details that I'm trying to understand, but it's enough to know that's not how we operate."
Alabama travels to Baton Rouge next weekend to face the Tigers in Death Valley. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
