ESPN unveiled updated SEC Bowl Projections on Tuesday night after the College Football Playoff rankings were unveiled and have LSU playing in the Sugar Bowl on January 2nd in New Orleans, LA.
quote:

The bigger question for the SEC is which team will play in the Allstate Sugar Bowl? Losses by Auburn and Texas A&M opened the door for LSU and Florida. Although Auburn is the second-highest ranked team in the conference, at No. 15, the New Year's Eve spot might come down to the winner of this weekend's makeup game in Baton Rouge.

For now, we're giving the edge to the LSU. If the Tigers win out, there's a strong possibility that they will be making the short trip to New Orleans for their bowl.
