Report: Stanford Grad Transfer Terrence Alexander To Visit LSU In April

Mulitple sources are reporting that Stanford cornerback graduate transfer Terrence Alexander will visit LSU this spring as he seeks a landing spot to finish his college career.

The 5-10, 187-pound corner from New Orleans, LA (John Curtis HS) signed with Stanford in 2014 and missed most of his senior season in 2017 because of an injury. He has already been granted an additional year of eligibility and previously announced that he would be transferring.

Head coach Ed Orgeron has said on multiple occasions this offseason that they are looking for graduate transfer players at cornerback to add depth at the position in 2018. Per NOLA.com:

Alexander told NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune that he planned to visit LSU in early April.

LSU is looking for depth in the secondary with the departures of Donte Jackson and Kevin Toliver for the NFL draft and only taking Scotlandville standout Kelvin Joseph in this year's class. If the Tigers were able to add Alexander it would give them an experienced player at a position that projects to see several young players like Kary Vincent and Jontre Kirklin take the field.
