According to CoachingSearch.com, LSU is interviewing former Nicholls State and current Missouri Southern State coach Daryl Daye for its available special teams coordinator position:

LSU: Per source, LSU is interviewing Missouri Southern State head coach Daryl Daye for the special teams coordinator. Daye is a former LSU player and the former head coach at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Daye played at LSU in the mid-80s under coach Bill Arnsparger and served as an assistant on Mike Archer’s staff. His father, Donnie was a fullback and linebacker at LSU on the 1958 national title team.

He is a Great Coach and even a better person . He can get the players hyped up. His motor is always running . Come on LSU hire this Coach !

Funny seeing #44 on this. Donnie Daye wore #44 his last 2 years. Led the '59 team in tackles!!!
