LSU nose tackle Tyler Shelvin did not travel with the team to Florida for Saturday's game vs the Gators, according to Brody Miller with NOLA.com.

The redshirt freshman has only played in one game this year, recording one tackle vs. Southeastern Louisiana.

Shelvin, a native of Lafayette, LA was the Tigers' highest-ranked prospect in the 2017 class but had to redshirt last year after the NCAA partially denied his eligibility.

I swear any time I ever hear "unblockable" again, I'm going to assume it means, "too fat to play."

I think Valentine will see the field before Shelvin at this point.

Valentine is in much much better shape and is a much better football player than Shelvin is. It's pathetic.
