Former LSU head coach Les Miles met with University of Minnesota officials about the Golden Gophers’ coaching vacancy, according to 120Sports’ Michael Kim.

Minnesota is looking for a replacement for Tracy Claeys who was fired on Tuesday.

Penn State offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead and Western Michigan head coach P.J. Fleck have also been linked to the Minnesota job this week.

LSU dodged a major bullet when the clock ran out in the Auburn game. ....Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Face it....Miles is a nice guy and an above-average BS artist...Fortunately for LSU, the clock ran out in the Auburn game. Otherwise we would still be stuck with him.

Another swing, another miss for CLM. Hope he takes a job at ESPN because it's become apparent...he's not getting another coaching job this year

Dang, Les wish he would have taken the Michigan job when it became available in 2007 and 2014.

He would already have been run out of Michigan by now. Meyer would have been his Big10 Saban...

glad to see him going to the Big 10. One of the few conferences where Miles' offensive philosophy is actually somewhat normal and standard. Wish him the best

I hope Coach Les Miles does well... I also hope that much in the same way that Orgeron failed at Ole Miss by having too much influence in other areas of the team that Les Miles would not have so much of an influence on the offense and allow his coordinators to do their jobs and that's call plays without him overriding play calls

Great spot for Les. They won't expect championships and they don't have to play Bama.
