Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports and The Athletic is reporting that Brian Kelly will retain LSU’s Director of Performance Innovation Jack Marucci.

Marucci has been at LSU for the past 25 years.

A leader in the field of athletic training, Jack Marucci enters his 24th season as Director of Athletic Training at LSU. Since joining the Tigers, Marucci’s leadership and vision here moved LSU to the forefront of athletic training at the collegiate level.

As the program’s director, Marucci oversees the athletic training operation for all 21 varsity sports, which includes supervising a staff of 13 full-time trainers, three nutrition staff members, and seven graduate assistants.

An experienced trainer with a strong background in collegiate athletics, Marucci helped design the Broussard Center for Athletic Training at Tiger Stadium as well as the one located in the Football Operations Building, which the football team operates out of on a daily basis.
