ESPN Writer Alex Scarborough ranked the SEC offensive lines in his preseason position rankings article Thursday and pegged LSU at No. 4 behind Arkansas, Georgia, and Auburn.
quote:

LSU: You talk about powerful lines. Here’s one. Vadal Alexander, who passed up the NFL draft, is only the tip of the spear. Jerald Hawkins is back at tackle and Ethan Pocic is back and capable of playing all five positions. Les Miles called projected center Josh Boutte, "The biggest man I’ve ever known."
1. Arkansas
2. Georgia
3. Auburn
4. LSU
5. Alabama
6. Texas A&M
7. Missouri

Thought Will Clapp was the center. What happened? Did they move Boutte over? Will have a bad camp or something?

Bama had to replace 3 starters.

No way should they be top 3.

Yea, I get that I'm a bama fan but bama at #5 seems rather odd to me. I'd see bama more at #1-3.

I actually disagree. We are one of the more consistently higher ranked teams across the SEC in these recent rankings. I would be interested to see a composite once they are all released.

I just can't wait until we get back to the point to where we have making, dominating O lines. It seemed every year we did, we won a ring. That's what killed us last season, worse than the secondary.

The media must be really pissed at CLM for closing practices. Going by preseason ranking this is one of the least talented teams LSU has had.
