(Wow look yall, the designer, mrPresident, has chimed in.) Yo, when LSU was deciding which colors to pick for its uniforms way back in the old old days (even before Zach), they wanted all three MG colors. But they happened to be out of green, so just went with purple and gold. Tulane got what was left. Im sure sure that story is factually bull crap, but its mythologically correct and consistent with actual color choices. So, in a mythologically literal sense, THAT IS TULANE GREEN on that helmet. It is thus a bastard helmet that should not have ever existed or even been thought of, and it should be destroyed immediately and never spoken of again.
