LSU's Golden Band from Tiger Land lost two former members who passed away in recent weeks. The two members were Trumpet players and their last season with the band was in 2012.

The Missouri Marching Band paid their respects this week by spelling out "LSU" during a practice and posted it on Facebook with the following message:
quote:

"From one SEC Tiger band to another - we would like to express our condolences and support after your recent losses. It is not easy to have lost recently graduated members but we want to reach out to you in your time of need as we keep you in our thoughts and prayers."

I meant since they've been a member of the SEC. Guess you missed the class on context clues in 3rd grade. Or you're just dumb.

Every once in a while, between the hits of meth and anti-abortion rhetoric, Missouri shows it's truly a classy place.

Although we haven't played them in football yet, I can now accept them as a member of the SEC.
