After the Falcons-Panters game on Sunday, former LSU teammates Duke Riley and Donte Jackson swapped jerseys with each other, a tradition that has taken off over the last few years in the NFL.

3rd best DB in 2016 and 2nd best LB. That defense was stacked.

The National Football League is a multi-BILLION dollar entity, as are the individual franchises. I am QUITE certain that the franchises can afford a few extra shirts. If not, they certainly pay their players enough that they, too, can afford a few extra shirts, as well. Nice gesture. It's not as if they'll wear the same jerseys all year, this isn't high school or playground ball.

How does this work? Do you have to pay your team for the jersey that you gave away?

I don't think they do. I watched a video and they talked about this. The team just makes sure they have a few extra for their star players. I forget what team was saying this, but they just get a little mad when they trade because those things are expensive.

I wouldn't consider either a "star player" quite yet.
