College Football analysts Paul Finebaum joined ESPN’s “Get Up” morning show this week and unveiled his current College Football Playoff teams and put LSU at No. 4.

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Notre Dame
4. LSU

Here's what he had to say about the Tigers, per 247Sports:
quote:

“I like LSU. They have three top-10 wins. They have looked really good. Joe Burrow has been serviceable, not great, but he’s come through when it matters winning at Auburn, winning against Georgia. They let the Florida game get away. They have to be careful, though. Alabama is in two weeks. Mississippi State on Saturday could be a tough game for them.”

"mm maybe if you learned to read you would understand it. he wasnt predicting these teams to be in the playoffs at the end of the year, he was saying if the season ended today these are the teams he would have in" Actually, it doesn't say that anywhere. Anywhere at all, actually. Care to point out that mention?

Finebaum is full of shite. He hasnt given LSU any credit all season (Which is cool with me). He just trying to build us up because we're up next to play his beloved Tide.

There is actually a ton of logic behind this AND stop talking about your own mother like that!

Explain to me how we get into the playoff without losing to Bama. Explain to me how Bama gets the #1 seed if they lose to us and doesn't make it to the SEC championship. Go ahead. I'm all ears.

Put more simply. We only get in the playoff if we beat Bama and win the SEC championship game. If that happens, there's no way Bama is the #1 seed. Like I said. No logic.

Those are just current rankings I assume? It seems very unlikely that LSU gets in at #4 and Bama at #1. It would take LSU beating Bama to get into the playoffs, therefore they'd be ranked ahead of Bama.

LSU beats Bama in Baton Rouge by a field goal. They have not played a real team all year.

And he gets paid for these revelations?

It's all about the delivery. His only credit to LSU is that he said he liked them, which he has to do because he didn't see this coming (nor did anyone else). Still a lot of doubt, which is what our Tigers want!
