LSU officially announced the hiring of new linebacker coach Blake Baker on Thursday evening.

Baker, a native of Houston, Texas, has served as Miami's defensive coordinator and linebacker coach since January 2019. Prior to his time in Coral Gables, Baker spent the previous four seasons as defensive coordinator at Louisiana Tech.

Baker is 38-years old and played football at Tulane.
