Bryan Fischer with NFL.com ranked the top college football stadiums for 2014, and LSU's Tiger Stadium came in at No. 2, just right behind the Rose Bowl. Here is what he had to say about Tiger Stadium:
quote:

LSU's Tiger Stadium
One of a number of stadiums with the nickname Death Valley, most opponents would agree that a trip to Baton Rouge often lives up to that billing as of late. The tailgating scene is ridiculous, it has a unique exterior design, the opposing fans are stuffed a mile away from the action and it can get louder than anywhere when the Tigers need the noise. Plus, if you ask Les Miles, the grass is better here than anywhere in college football.
Complete list:
1. Rose Bowl
2. LSU's Tiger Stadium
3. Washington's Husky Stadium
4. Texas A&M's Kyle Field
5. Oregon's Autzen Stadium
6. Notre Dame Stadium
7. Clemson's Memorial Stadium
8. Ohio State's Ohio Stadium
9. Georgia's Sanford Stadium
10. Michigan Stadium
11. Army's Michie Stadium
12. Nebraska's Memorial Stadium
13. Boise State's Albertsons Stadium
14. Wisconsin's Camp Randall

Might as well add McNeese and New Mexico State.

"the opposing fans are stuffed a mile away from the action"

Absolutely false. Opponents are given excellent seats.

The Rose Bowl? Please. And only 3 SEC stadiums? This is not an accurate list, IMO.
