From grass in his mouthguard, eating pixie sticks, and drinking too much "bayou salt water"... Riley was clowning around and having fun.

Sure blame Chavis there if you like. Or like most of us see it, he was stuck buried behind Kwon, Barrow, Beckwith, Jones, Louis (ALL now in the NFL also). He bided his time well, learned, matured, and then blew up when finally given his opportunity. And some guy named Aranda played a little part as well.
