Former LSU wide receiver Malachi Dupre has signed with the Los Angeles Chargers, the team announced this week. Per The Chargers.com:

Dupre was originally a seventh-round selection by the Green Bay Packers in 2017. After practice squad stints with the Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, and Seattle Seahawks, he saw his first NFL action with the Arizona Cardinals last season where he appeared in the final contest of the year. Dupre hauled in 98 passes for 1,609 yards and scored 14 touchdowns at LSU. 2015 was his most productive season when he caught 43 passes for 698 yards and found the endzone six times.

He was the #1 receiver out of high school damn les miles would really waste some meaningful talent

If he had meaningful talent he would be thriving in the NFL, despite limited success at LSU. But he is not, he is floundering about trying to find stable work. He was overrated out of high school, it happens all the time. Les had nothing to do with his post LSU successes or failures

Another year would have certainly helped. Can't do worse than go undrafted, so only direction to go would have been up.

“Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time”. I wondered what happened to him after GB drafted him. Hope he can finally make a roster. He seemed like a good kid.

Shouldve come back for senior yr. Thats what happens when you get bad advice. He couldve improves his skills and draft status. Now hes bouncing around on practice squads
