LSU offensive lineman Ethan Pocic, who is currently listed as a guard, was named to the Rimington Award watch list on Wednesday.

The award is presented annually to the most outstanding center in College Football and the winner will be announced on Dec. 7. Per LSUSport.net:

A 6-7, 301-pounder, Pocic has started four games at center in his career with three coming last season and one as a true freshman in 2013. He also started nine games at right guard a year ago.

Pocic amassed 72.5 knockdown blocks in 743 total snaps played last season, with a career-high 11 knockdowns in wins over Ole Miss and New Mexico State.
The last LSU Tigers to win the Rimington was All-American Ben Wilkerson who won the award in 2004.
