Earlier this month it was reported that backup wide receiver Avery Peterson would be transferring away from LSU.

And on Wednesday afternoon we learned that he will be heading to Cincinnati to continue his football career and education...

Peterson missed all of 2013 after suffering a season ending injury during training camp and made one appearance during the New Mexico State game in 2014.

With LSU having plenty of talent at the wide receiver position, Peterson will have a better chance of making an impact on the field with the Bearcats.

Good for him. Can't get mad at these guys buried on the depth chart at WR/DB specifically. Hope it works out for him. Just another example of what a badass PP7 is when his immense loyalty to LSU isn't swayed by his bros lack of playing time.
