LSU safety Grant Delpit has won the Jim Thorpe Award as the best defensive back in college football.

Delpit is the third Tiger to win the award. He beat out Ohio State’s Jeffrey Okudah and Georgia’s JR Reed for the honor.

No you're not crazy. I feel Jeffrey Okudah is better but they're both pretty good.

Also, not a lot of AMAZING defense this year as a whole. Most offenses were putting up huge scores all season.
