With the help from LSU Athletcs, The Parade Ground on LSU's campus is getting a makeover that will be complete by the beginning of football season, according to The Advocate:

According to LSU spokesman Ernie Ballard, soil and fiber re-enforced sand that was removed during a resurfacing project for two of LSU’s practice football fields has been transported to the Parade Ground and will be used to make the area more durable.

Ballard said LSU athletics donated the sand, soil and turf for the project, and labor is being covered by LSU Facility Services.
