LSU moved up two spots to No. 2 in the latest SEC Power Rankings from ESPN after Saturday's dominant win over Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR.
quote:

2. LSU: Leonard Fournette limped off the field? No problem. Just hand it to Derrius Guice. The sophomore broke a school record with a 96-yard TD run and ran 21 times for 252 yards in a 38-10 road win over Arkansas. Though if he clearly wasn't 100 percent, Fournette also ran for 98 yards and three scores. Oh yeah, and the defense dominated again, too. The Tigers might not win the SEC West or appear in the playoff, but they have risen to the SEC's top tier after a slow start. -- David Ching

Crazy part is if Stubborn Miles opens up the O and plays the better QB he'd be firmly in he playoff mix right now. No way Wisconsin and AU beat this team playing like they are now. That's not even getting into how playing Fournette in a meaningless preseason scrimmage affected the O.

The QB playing now was supposedly wasn't available for the Wisconsin game due to an injury. Miles replaced last years starting QB after the first quarter of the second game of the season. By the time the better QB knocked the rust off his game (due to having to sit all of last season) Miles was fired. And if last years QB hadn't been given an opportunity to sink or swim early in the year, fans such as yourself would have been screaming from the rooftops demanding to know why there was a QB change.

No matter which team you're a fan of, ask yourself if you would want to play lsu? And if you already have, looking at you gumps, would you want to play them again?
