Yes, he screwed up. He also turned his life around after he got out of jail. While I certainly do not approve of the crime he committed, he paid his debt to society, and transformed his life into a better purpose after he got out, which I respect.

So you're a better person than Billy Cannon. Congratulations.

I'm full of faults, but I didn't become a felon who stole from many by printing fake money.

He was a great football player. Sorry, it ends there kids

Look at everything Billy Cannon has done in his life; he was part of a national championship winning team, was the focus of the greatest play in LSU football history, he won the Heisman, he played in the NFL, and he became a dentist. He accomplished all of this despite his faults.

Imagine what GeeOH, who is without faults, has accomplished in his life.

GeeOH, you have to be one cold-hearted, miserable man to believe that a human being who has made mistakes can't be redeemed. I feel sorry for you.

So a POS felon is a legend? He's an embarrassment to LSU, not a hero anymore. Sorry, he chose that path

So he's no longer a legend?

One of the more humble, respectful tones I have heard from PF.
