There is no way that Baker didn’t know how to defend a read option offense. I still believe the terrible defensive performance against A&M had more to do with talent deficit and players not playing smart by missing plays or being out of position all together.

Baker is the head of the defense, so I’m not taking blame off of him, but I don’t think it’s a problem where he “couldn’t figure out A&M”.

But shoot.. I’ve been wrong before lol
