LSU head coach Les Miles spoke with reporters after Saturday's scrimmage about tight end Dillon Gordon who is awaiting news on whether or not he will be granted a fifth season of eligibility.

Miles said there is no update on Gordon at this point but suggested that he deserves another year.

Gordon played in LSU's 2015 opener against Mississippi State but left the Tigers' second game of the season against Auburn with a left achilles tendon injury. He re-injured the same achilles we he returned for LSU's 35-28 victory against Florida on Oct. 17.

if it was Bama he would have gotten cleared long time ago, like a week after the season ended

This pisses me off. Like Guava said, he should have been notified of this so he can execute a plan of NFL (no extra year) or LSU (extra year). LSU always seems to get the raw deal with the NCAA and the SEC

Look, NCAA. either give the kid another year or don't. This doesn't need to be dragged out. It should take about an hour of deliberation, tops.

This. If he's not in, tell him so he can start working with a trainer and get an agent. Don't string the dude along for months.
