Per LSUSports.net: NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- LSU quarterback Myles Brennan threw for 337 yards with four touchdowns, as the Tigers rebounded with a 41-7 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium.

LSU (1-1) pitched a second-half shutout, allowing only 63 yards to Vanderbilt (0-2).

Nice win OL played much better as did MB. Wire did well at OT. Superb balance throughout the game. Emery made some good reads and runs. OFF must get better on 3d down - play-calling and execution.
DEF only gave up 7 points, and should continue to improve. Profound to see so many young guys (FR/SO) and 1st year starters on that side of the ball. Keep working Tigers!

Be interested to see a tally of the drops in the game. Offensive numbers would have been even better if a few drives hadn’t stalled because of them.
