LSU has hired defensive analysts Gerald Chatman and Antonio Fenelus to the coaching staff, according to Matt Zenitz with AL.com.

Chatman worked for the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2019 season where he overlapped with new LSU defensive coordinator Daronte Jones.

Fenelus also has experience with Jones as he was a graduate assistant at Wisconsin in 2015 when Jones was the Badgers defensive back coach. Fenelus was a four-year letter winner at Wisconsin helping the Badgers with the Big Ten title in 2010 and 2011 and was named Team MVP on defense during his senior season.
