This is just to keep MS guessing. Etling will be the starter. He's earned it. I was a huge supporter of Harris, but he just imploded against Jac State. Etling came in and won it. Yeah, he made some second half mistakes, but that's to be expected in the first game. Etling will get the start. I'm pretty sure the team is already aware of that. It probably won't be announced until pregame on Saturday though.

Im with letting Etling have go, but if Harris can get any confidence back and quit pouting, give him some reps as opportunity presents itself. Etling needs some work and definitely needs to protect the damn ball.

I'm actually with Les on this one. You dont want to name a starter right now. . .Etling showed some promise but you certainly don't want to eliminate the competition in case he gets hurt, and #2: Keep MS State guessing.

Both QBs suck so it really doesn't matter.

At this point I would settle for 13-1! But you are correct, sir.

No real Advantage to naming a starter. Why let MS state know anything? This means nothing

There aint nothing to know about Harris. He doesn't bring anything to the table for a defense to focus on. Name Etling the starter for the game and let the guy focus on the game plan. Let WRs prepare and get communication down with the guy they know will be starting the game.
